Soooo-I spent Saturday tooling around the outskirts of Boston Farm Stand hunting. Due to a Boston Globe write up, one of the places I visited was Hanson Farms in Framingham MA. One word describes this place: GHETTO!!!! Although the barn where the farm stand resides was charming, the vegetables and fruits it offered was lacking. Worse, the grounds in which it offered both hay rides (nothing more then a modern tractor with a lame cart on the back where you sit on hey) and a corn maze (where they were charging $6/person to walk through this dead corn field) was littered with JUNK. Samford & Son Style. They did have some FREAKISHLY large gourdes, if you are into that sort of thing. Al-in-all don’t believe the hype-this place is a WASTE of time.
