Last Monday, October 31st, I had the opportunity to see Gwen Stefani in concert. This was her "Harajuku Lovers" tour at the Bank North Garden in Boston. The Black Eyed Peas had opened for her. What a good time, especially
since it was Halloween and because I had third row center seats (the photo on right should give an idea to how close I was to the stage (ignore the squirrel hurter that made it into the shot).
I think my favorite part of both shows (BEP and Stefani) were their break dancers. Phenomenal!!! Gwen’s Harajuku girls were fun to watch as well. I don’t think I am a fan of Gwen’s solo work though. I found it all too poppy! I much prefer her with No Doubt. To her credit, I doubt she is going after the 34 yo male crowd.
My biggest regret is not bringing my digital camera-especially since I was sitting so close. I figured it would be problematic. I could not have been more wrong, everyone had one. In the end, we had to make do with Steph’s phone camera, which explains the poor picture quality. Sigh.
nice blog! I’m goin to G’s concert in dallas this friday…u said everyone had camera’s i wanna bring mine but i dunno if they allow professional ones. do you know??
Kellee, I imagine that you should be fine bringing a professional camera.
