With the past couple of weeks being rather hectic at work, Steph and I decided to take a jaunt up to Meredith, NH for a little rest and relaxation. Having had such a positive experience with the Church Landing Inn at Mill Falls last November, I decided to book a suite for the weekend.
One new thing new I had the pleasure of experiencing at the Inn this time around was the Cascade Spa. Yesterday afternoon I ordered up a 50 minute "Tranquility Massage". This a traditional full-body relaxation massage using gentle to moderate pressure with long, soothing strokes. HEAVEN!
One note of warning. Some of you may remember that I posted a rant about the Lakehouse Grill located with the Inn last November. It still is sub-par. I urge anyone deciding to stay in the delightful Inn to look elsewhere for your meals.
