What a long day! I left Atlanta at noon today expecting to arrive home in Boston by 3pm. Due to the severe weather (see radar image provided) that has hit the North East, we found ourselves in a couple hour holding pattern over Providence, RI before we were diverted to Bangor Main to refuel. After spending another 2 hours on the ground in Maine, we take off to once again be put in a 2 hour holding pattern. Boston, New York, and Philadelphia all closed down at this point and we were required to fly to Washington, D.C. where I find myself spending the night. I hopefully will be able to get out tomorrow. Ugh!
Hey, look at this! It looks like a lot of fun — I’m thinking about going. I’d never pass up a chance to see The Iceman — would you? http://stephanierogers.typepad.com/
