The Louver in Abu Dabi

I recently uncovered via Tropolism’s RSS Feed.  that The Louvre has licensed its name to Abu Dhabi’s previously-titled "classical museum" for $520 million.  Jean Nouvel, the designer of the planned space for the Louver in the United Arab Emirates,
features a huge, flattened dome over an open-air arrangement of smaller
buildings. "It’s like a village, shaded with a space dome."  Pictured above is the underside of the dome. Absolutly beautiful!
