And that was some serious time off!!!! I don’t think I have published a post professional or otherwise for 30 days. Honestly, it was a much needed break.
Most of my weekends are being spent in Campton, NH. I finally hit the slopes last weekend when Cindy’s sister Laurie paid us a visit from Austin, TX. I plan to ski again this weekend and I have another spring skiing trip in Mammoth with my Cuz coming up soon.
Howie has been great! Unfortunately, we seem to constantly be battling an infection in both of his ears. With some changes to his diet and a healthy dose of antibiotics, he seems to be getting better.
Finally, I joined Facebook! I have set up this blog to push posts to my Facebook page so that I may continue using this as my primary publishing platform.
Anywho……..I look forward to chatting with all my peeps again.

The Holidays…..
I have not posted in quite sometime. I guess I needed the break. As the Christmas holiday approaches, I am facing for the first time in my life spending Christmas Eve and Day alone. Well, not entirely alone as Howie will be with me. Indeed, I plan to begin to make my way to Wheeling, WV on Christmas Day. Every other year the Karnell clan gets together at Oglebay Park to spend Dec 26th-Jan 1st together. I have decided to drive this year, so that I can bring Howie. Its a 10 1/2 hour journey so I plan to break the drive up and spend the night someplace that is a half way point….which happens to be Allentown, PA. UGH!
The last couple of days I have been fending off a cold and have found very little motivation to send holiday cards or to buy presents for friends and family. I really need to take care of those things. I really need to find some holiday spirit…….

Yep….that would be MOI! I really have not spent anytime on this site for weeks. No excuses. Hell, maybe I needed the break! Regardless, I still have s ton to write about. For instance:

- Just shaved my head (#3 clippers…so I am not bald). Needed to mix up the look.
