This weekend I concluded watching the first season of Battlestar Galactica (yes….that’s ALL I did yesterday, along with eating a pint of Ben and Jerry’s Cookie Dough Ice Cream). I had bought the DVD set last week.
It goes without saying that I really enjoyed the Sci-Fi channel miniseries remake of the classic television series that first aired 25 years ago. By far my favorite character is Commander William Adama (played by Edward James Olmos). Following his character, I enjoyed Lt. Kara Thrace "Starbuck" (now played as a female by Katee Sackhoff) and Number 6 played by Tricia Helfer (YUM). One of the surprises of the series was the introduction of Richard Hatch in the series as the character Tom Zarek. He played Apollo in the original Battlestar series.
I look forward to catching up with the second season airing this year.
