Below represents the only photographs I took when I visited Montepulciano on May 13th while attending a National Geographic Photography Workshop in Tuscany, Italy. Although Montepulciano was as worthy to shoot as any I had the pleasure of visiting during my stay in Italy, I had decided I would not experience it via the view finder in my camera. Instead, I wanted to soak in the surroundings and purely enjoy where I was in that moment. I spent most of my time at a cafe drinking a bottle of wine, people watching, and treasuring every second in this beautiful Tuscan village.
