I have finally gotten around to uploading the pictures I took at the Depeche Mode concert on July 31st, 2009.  We sat about 6 rows up from the stage at Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA.

This entire set with my taken with my iphone. The Black and White photos were processed using the “Old Camera” iPhone application.  I took a shot at the beginning of each set and live-casted updates to my Facebook Account via Tweetie.

Cindy and I are having a wonderful time at the Equinox in Vermont. Today, after our spa session, we are going to look into taking Falconry lessons and possibly hit the archery range. Both activities are located at the resort’ British School of Falconry.

The school is the nation’s first school of its kind to offer hands-on lessons with trained Falcons. Their site states:

Guests at the Equinox are invited to try one of the world’s oldest sports in the beautiful setting of Hildene Meadows and enhance their appreciation of these magnificent birds. During a session, guests will learn to handle and fly Harris hawks. Introductory lessons, “hawk walks” and hunts are all offered to give guests the opportunity to appreciate these amazing animals.

If we end up doing this today, I imagine that it will only involve the introductory lessons.  There is NO WAY in hell that I am interested in the hunting option in which Harris hawks are flown at partridge, quail, rabbit, or other game in season.

So…its no Tahoe or Bermuda!  But it beats having to get on another plane for awhile.  Cindy and I found Equinox Resort & Spa after searching for a nice places that are dog friendly that we could escape away to this weekend.  This cute resort in Western Vermont is located in Manchester Village right next to the Green Mountain National Forest.  I believe they recently became a part of the Luxury Collection by Starwoord.

We are leaving Boston now to make the 3 hour 40 minute trek from Boston. I plan to bring my camera—so there may be some photography from this spontaneous weekend away.

    Stay tuned!

Another great find from OurHype! The latest addition to the Threadless collection of Twitter tees, is a riot (see above).  I love seeing things like this that poke fun at how we all fetishize new technology (especially ones that are not the meaningful in the scheme of things).  Don’t get me wrong, I like Twitter.  However, I believe it will be an obsolete platform soon.  Don’t believe me? Read Jason Clark’s article on iMedia.

The entire Threadless collection is noteworthy.  If you tweet, you must check out the following tees:

    • Lets go back to Myspace and you can Twitter all over my Facebook
    • Having an iPhone has completely changed the way I poop.
    • You Auto|Complete Me.
    • 140 is the new 420
    • The message system that we didn’t know we needed until we had it.
    • I’m Huge on Twitter
